BAND NOTE: We are always looking for new music talent. If you are a band that wants to play at the House: PLAY AT OPEN MIC ON THURSDAY SO THAT WE CAN HAVE A CHANCE TO HEAR YOU! MORE BANDS GET BOOKED THIS WAY THAN ANY OTHER AND IT'S FUN! OR 1.) Send a demo CD. 2) e-mail manager@brickhousebutler.com to let us know it's coming & 3.) Please don't call us - we will call you if we want to book you after listening to your demo (when we get a chance!). We have found, through trial and error, that folks want to hear songs they know. So yes, cover tunes are the norm from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today. While we don't restrict bands from playing their originals completely, we do limit them to a few songs per night. We'd love to launch the next big hit, but songs we all know keep everybody dancing!

Our Thursday night, Open Mic Night is the perfect opportunity for songwriters to try out new material with an appreciative audience. We are extremely fortunate to have a very talented singer and musician by the name of Bill Lafferty hosting Open Mic - now in it's seventh year!
